Gaza Bleeds: Israeli Strikes Kill Seven More Civilians, Including Toddler
In Gaza City, Israeli helicopters unleashed heavy strikes targeting tents in the central Yarmouk area from early morning, killing a woman and wounding several others, medical officials told media. A Palestinian news agency confirmed that a toddler was among those killed in the same locality.
Further violence struck the Shejaiya neighborhood in eastern Gaza City, where Israeli shelling hit a civilian gathering, killing one woman and injuring multiple people. Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes launched a series of attacks along Al-Nafaq Street—stretching from central Gaza City toward its northeastern districts—while heavy artillery pounded the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood simultaneously.
In central Gaza, a Palestinian child was fatally shot by Israeli gunfire in the Bureij refugee camp. In Deir al-Balah, Israeli drones struck a residential home, injuring several Palestinians.
Additionally, Israeli forces apprehended several Palestinian fishermen off the coast of Gaza City and destroyed their boats, the Prisoner’s Media Office reported. Two Palestinians seeking aid were also killed by Israeli army fire in northwestern Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.
The violence extended to northern Khan Younis, where Israeli soldiers opened fire on civilians, killing one Palestinian.
This relentless genocidal campaign has killed more than 64,600 Palestinians since October 2023, devastating the Gaza Strip, which now faces a severe humanitarian crisis marked by famine.
In November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Additionally, Israel is confronting a genocide lawsuit at the International Court of Justice related to its military operations in the enclave.
